Our Operations and Mining Values
Mulaphi Rare Resources LLC’s mining operations include the Mirelani Tanzanite mine complex, which consists of Block B and D underground mines, as well as a vertical shaft used for ventilation. Additionally, there are two opencast mines in Mahenge for spinel extraction.
Tanzanite, a rare blue and violet variety of the mineral zoisite, derives its striking color from trace amounts of vanadium. This precious gemstone is found only in Tanzania, specifically within a small mining area near the Mirerani Hills
